Artist Name: Karen Anderson Location: Areas throughout Atlanta Materials range depending on the style of door that the artist is going for Something Interesting: "For each new door Anderson hosts a miniature ribbon-cutting ceremony, a way to present the work to the public, while also connecting community members and fans of the miniature works. “I love the potential for art to build community,” Artist Website: https://tinydoorsatl.com/ I think this is very inspiring because, she wants the art community to grow and come together. The "ribbon cutting ceremonies" really bring everyone together in a way that overcomes other obstacles. I also really love the designs she uses and the way she makes each 6-inch door represent something different. There are a total of 12 of these doors throughout Atlanta and each one of them carries a different meaning behind them. Its important to show others how important art is and that they should be able to express themselves publicly.
